Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has contracted SJ Construction Private Limited to construct 100 row houses in Thimarafushi, Thaa Atoll.
The agreement was signed by Deputy Minister for Housing Mohamed Khalis Shareef and Managing Director of SJ Construction Shihad Ibrahim. The project was handed over on a design and build basis and will be funded from the state budget.
Under the agreement, 100 row houses will be constructed in Thimarafushi, with each consisting of 3 rooms, 3 toilets, a sitting room and a laundry area. SJ Construction is required to complete the project within 1 year at a cost of over USD 4.63 million.
