The administration has swapped managing directors of Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) and Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) revealed former Managing Director of MWSC Adam Azim has been appointed to lead MTCC and former Managing Director of MTCC Hassan Shah has been appointed to head MWSC. However, the reason for the swap has not been revealed.
Adam Azim was appointed as the managing director of MWSC on November 30, 2018. Previously, he served as the managing director of State Trading Organisation (STO).
Hassan Shah was appointed as the managing director of MTCC on December 11, 2018. Previously, he served as the chairperson of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), Minister of State for Environment and also as a member of Elections Commission of Maldives (ECM).
