Ambassador of Pakistan to Maldives Vice Admiral (Rtd) Waseem Akram has made a farewell call on President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih at the President’s Office this morning.
During the meeting, President Solih expressed his sincere gratitude to the ambassador and the Government of Pakistan for their continuous support for the development of Maldives, especially in the areas of education, health, social welfare and sports. The president also highlighted on the close brotherly friendship between the two countries.
The President concluded the meeting by expressing his hope for further enhancement of long standing bilateral relations between the Maldives and Pakistan.
