Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided to probe into disciplinary cases against three judges, including Chief Judge of High Court of Maldives Shujau Usman.
JSC also decided to probe cases against Family Court Judge Abdulla Adeeb and Chief Magistrate at Maamendhoo Magistrate Court Ahmed Shukoor. In accordance to clause 22.1, subsection E of JSC Act, the commission has formed an investigation committee to probe into the disciplinary cases against the judges.
During the meeting, the commission also decided to appoint Magistrate Abdul Qadir Adam as the acting head of Dhaalu Judicial Consitutency, following the dismissal of former Chief Magistrate Abdul Razzaq Mohamed.
