Villa College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maldives Research on broadening the field of research in Maldives.
The MoU was signed in a special ceremony held at QI Campus of Villa College. During the ceremony, an MoU was also signed between ADK Hospital and Maldives Research while a sponsorship agreement was signed between Maldives Research and Villa Foundation.
Villa College says the agreements signed with Maldives Research, a non-government organisation registered in United Kingdom, will facilitate research on different fields in the country and enhance cooperation amongst sectors. The college said it will be collaborating with Maldives Research in coordinating academic research and providing technical assistance.
Villa College, Maldives Research and ADK Hospital have been actively involved in conducting academic research in Maldives and publishing its findings. They said the agreements signed to collaborate with each other would facilitate several important researches that can play a crucial role in the development of the country.
