CMD Finance Leasing Company Private Limited has been awarded the licence to conduct finance leasing in Maldives.
The licence was officially awarded to CMD by Governor of Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA), Ali Hashim. MMA says CMD’s arrival to the finance leasing market will help to increase competition and enhance the financial sector of the country.
CMD Finance Leasing Company was formed with 99% shares from JMT Private Limited. A Japanese company holds 80% shares of JMT.
