Ministry of Tourism has canceled Fenfushi Island Council's lease tender of 4 land plots to develop tourism.
The ministry revealed the tender was called off due to discrepancies in the announcement, explaining the bid document had no details of application procedures and the kind of facilities that can be developed after lease.
The tourism ministry explained it decided to cancel the bid as no contracts have been signed after the award of lease. The ministry further said it will assist the council in announcing the 4 plots of land for tender.
The land plots were opened for tender by the council in August 2018.
