The newly appointed Non-resident Ambassador of Maldives to Netherlands Hassan Sobir has presented Letters of Credence to King Willem-Alexander, at a ceremony held in the Noordeinde Palace.
During the meeting that ensued, King Willem-Alexander welcomed Ambassador Sobir and congratulated him on his appointment. He further reiterated the commitment to strengthen the relations between Maldives and Netherlands and expressed his confidence the relations will reach new heights during the tenure of Ambassador Sobir.
Ambassador Sobir conveyed warm greetings and good wishes from the people of Maldives and President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and assured his commitment to work diligently to further strengthen the existing long-standing friendly ties between Maldives and Netherlands.
Ambassador Sobir was accompanied by Counsellor at the Embassy of Maldives in Belgium Samahath Zuhuree.
