Ministry of Education has contracted Maris Construction Company Private Limited to build 8 classrooms and a multipurpose hall in Kolhufushi, Meemu Atoll.
The agreement was signed by Finance Executive of Education Ministry Naushad Ibrahim and Managing Director of Maris Construction Ahmed Saeed. The project worth USD 49,943, funded from the State Budget, is expected to be completed in 250 days.
The government is conducting 40 development projects funded by the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP). 3 of the programmes have been funded by free grants from India and the majority of the 40 projects has been tendered or awarded.
