Ministry of Education has conducted Educational Support Programmes (ESP) in 30 small schools to provide assistance in overcoming difficulties in teaching students.
Minister of Education Dr Aishath Ali distributed certificates to the participants at a ceremony held to mark the end of the programme.
The ministry conducted ESP from July to October for one week in each school and instructed 609 teachers, 2,608 students and 1,486 parents to prepare them for learning. The support programme taught the participants on how to prepare lesson plans and use co-teaching models in learning. The participants took part in sessions on how to prepare for learning by using available means and sent the prepared items to be used in schools.
