JSC to ask assistance from state to audit financial statements of judges

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided to attain assistance from relevant state authorities to audit the financial statements submitted by judges.

All judges are subject to submit financial statement once every year which should include income statements, equity and cash flows. JSC also revealed a final notice would be given to all judges who have not submitted financial statements, adding legal action would be taken against those judges who fail to submit the financial statements.

The newly members of the JSC have kicked off several reforms on the judiciary.
