Defence Minister visits Australian Maritime Safety Authority

Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi has visited Australian Maritime Safety Authority.

During her visit, the defence minister met with CEO Mick Kinley and Dr Alison Sonneveld responsible for international engagement. The discussions were focused on search and rescue operations, maritime safety, sea pollution and the functioning of International Maritime Organisation.

During her visit to Australia, Minister Mariya also met with her Australian counterpart Linda Reynolds and Chief of Defence Force Angus Campbell. The discussions were focused on enhancing collaboration and cooperation in the defence sector.
