Chief Justice Dr Ahmed Abdulla Didi has declined to accept a notice sent to by Judicial Services Commission (JSC).
In a statement, JSC asserted Ahmed Abdulla Didi requested to clarify the identity of the staff who went to his residence to handover the notice over a probe into his disciplinary actions. After clarifications from the staff, the chief justice entered his residence closing the door behind him.
The statement explained other judges from the Supreme Court accepted the notices from the staff.
