Uligan Powerhouse contracted to 2L Construction

The state-owned utility company, Fenaka Corporation Limited, has contracted the development of Uligan Powerhouse to 2L Construction Private Limited for USD 363,129.

Managing Director at Fenaka Ahmed Saeed Mohamed and Managing Director at 2L Construction Ali Ibrahim Rasheed signed the contract on behalf of Fenaka. The project contracted to be completed in 5 months and 20 days will start this month, as explained by Fenaka. The project is aimed at relocating the powerhouse to a non-residential area.

Fenaka has started a project to relocate all powerhouses in residential areas to farther away. The state-owned company mandated to provide island communities with electricity, water, sewerage and waste management services intends to move 30 powerhouses to non-residential areas. The development of new powerhouses has commenced in 17 islands.
