The new Ambassador of Maldives to Finland Ahmed Latheef has presented his Letter of Credence to President of Finland Sauli Niinisto.
During the meeting held after the Presentation of Credentials at a ceremony held in Helsinki, Ambassador Latheef conveyed warm greetings from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the people of Maldives to President Niinisto. He expressed his desire to work with Finland to further strengthen the close and cordial relationship between the two countries.
President Niinisto assured continued support of Finland to efforts of small island states to address climate change issues.
