Procurement records highest complaints in the third quarter: ACC

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has revealed most complaints it received in the third quarter have been filed over bad public procurement practices.

A total of 157 procurement complaints were received during the third quarter, while the amount was recorded at 40 in the third quarter last year, according to statistics revealed by ACC. The second highest of complaints it received were related to unfair recruitment and selection practices, with 63 such complaints registered at ACC in the third quarter.

ACC also received a total of 78 complaints related to rental properties, land plots, buildings, use of public finances, licensing and approvals. Other miscellaneous complaints it received in the third quarter totals to 58.
