The Government of Maldives has launched laboratory services in Kanduhulhudhoo, Gaafu Alifu Atoll. The new services at the health centre was launched by Chief of Staff at President's Office Ali Zahir.
All equipment and facilities to begin the laboratory services at the health centre were established and the services began on September 22.
Kanduhulhudhoo has a population of about 500 people. They travel to nearby islands to complete laboratory tests.
Laboratory services are provided in 5 islands of Gaafu Alifu Atoll, in addition to the newly included Kanduhulhudhoo.
