National Disaster Management Authority’s (NDMA) has opened a relief fund for victims of the fire that left one dead and over 400 homeless.
Speaking to PSM News, Chief Executive of NDMA Hisaan Hassan said a special bank account has been opened for donors titled 20 September Male’ Fire Relief Account. He explained no other parties or accounts will receive donations for the victims of the raging fire.

While NMDA has opened an account requesting donations, it is also assisting the families affected by the fire. Victims have been provided with a temporary shelter, food and clothing. NMDA is also making assessments in collaboration with other organisations and government authorities.
