Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Maldives Major General (Retd.) B.R.W.M.R.A.B Thoradeniya has made a farewell call on President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
During the meeting held at the President’s Office, President Solih conveyed sincere gratitude and appreciation for the immense efforts made by the ambassador to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries and the generous support he has extended to Maldives during his ambassadorial tenure. Moreover, he expressed sincere hope that Maldives and Sri Lanka will always remain close friends and partners.
Ambassador Thoradeniya stated it had been his pleasure to serve the Sri Lankan Government as the chosen representative to Maldives.
