Nimal elected as the Vice President of PNC

Former Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation Limited Mohamed Nimal has been appointed as the Vice President of People’s National Congress (PNC).

The appointment came following the resignation of Ahmed Nihan from the position. Since then, Nihan had joined Jumhooree Party (JP), a partner of the government coalition. He was one of the many high ranking individuals who have left the opposition to join JP.

Nimal was appointed to the position in a secret ballot. He had several positions in the administration of former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
