Ministry of Planning and infrastructure contracts Senok Trade Combine Private Limited to construct a harbour in Molhadhoo in Haa Alifu Atoll.
The contract was signed by Director General at Planning Ministry Fathmath Shana Farooq and Accountant Prabath from Senok Trade Combine.
The company should complete the project within one year, at a cost of USD 1.682 million, according to the contract. A seawall of 232 metres in length and revetment of 42 metres will be built and the harbour of the island will be deepened and widened up to 24,700 cubic metres as part of the project.
