President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Ali Hashim as the Governor of Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA). The appointment was made at a meeting held at the President’s Office.
During the function, President Solih presented the letter of appointment to Ali Hashim, who had previously served as Minister of Finance from 2008-10.
Parliament of Maldives approved to appoint Hashim as the new governor of MMA unanimously with 55 votes.
