National Institute of Education (NIE) has concluded the 5th International Teacher's Conference held in Addu City from September 4-5.
The conference held in collaboration with Ministry of Education and England's University of Cambridge focused on Education in the Global, National and Individual Context while providing a forum for academics from different nationalities to share insights and expertise relevant to the field.
The conference held every two years is the biggest conference held for teachers in Maldives. The open event for teachers and other professions of the education sector including some foreign invitees was held to academically discuss on changes seen in the education sector and conduct relevant researches. The conference also aimed to offer teachers a platform to share experiences and learn from one another in a context of research and practice.
