The 72nd conference on World Health Organisation (WHO) South-East Asia's regional committees has commenced in New Delhi, India.
Maldives is represented at the conference held from September 2-6 by Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen. Government ministers, officials and experts from 11 countries are taking part in the annual conference which addresses on the healthcare of the region.
The regional committee conference would review the emergency conditions faced by the countries and on ways to solve the challenges by the countries. A roundtable meeting between the leading representatives of the countries will be held on September 3.
The delegation from Maldives also consists of Ambassador of Maldives to India Aishath Mohamed Didi, senior health officials and senior staff of the Embassy of Maldives in New Delhi.
