President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Hussain Shareef as the Deputy Minister for Islamic Affairs.
Shareef has a bachelor’s degree in Shariah and Law with Honours from Villa College and has previously served at various managerial level positions over the last 2 decades in the private sector.
Shareef is the fifth deputy minister appointed to Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
