President appoints new member to ACC

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Mohamed Shakeel as a new member to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). The president presented the letter of appointment to the Shakeel at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.

Shakeel had previously served as Internal Auditor at Dhiraagu and also as an Officer in Charge at the Financial Intelligence Unit of Maldives Monitory Authority (MMA). He attained his Post Graduate Certificate in Computer Science at the Asia Pacific Institute for Information Technology, in Sri Lanka.

Prior to being presented the letter of appointment, Shakeel took the oath of membership of ACC. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef.
