Maldives have commenced a seminar in China to develop health sector of the country.
The seminar on Health Management Ability for Maldives held in China is participated by a total of 19 individuals from all levels of the Ministry of Health. Participants at the seminar include 5 individuals from political posts, 9 civil servants and 5 officials working in regional posts
During the seminar, information will be shared and discussed with technical experts from China on what needs to be done and implemented in policy level and the issues in implementing the health sector policies and relevant laws.
Furthermore, health ministry said discussions will be held on developing the health sector by improving professional skills and management skills. The ministry revealed the Maldivian delegation participating will be familiarised on health-related policies implemented in China.
