President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has presented Letters of Appointment to two state ministers. Aishath Athiya Naseer and Zilfeena Hassan were appointed as state ministers at a special ceremony held at the President’s Office.
Aishath Athiya Naseer was appointed as Minister of State for Education. She completed her master’s degree in education from the University of Nottingham and previously had served as the chief administrator of ADK Hospital.
Meanwhile, Zilfeena Hassan was appointed as Minister of State for Gender, Family and Social Services. She is presently a doctoral candidate and attainted her master's and bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from University of Southern Queensland, Australia and University of Abertay Dundee, respectively.
