Mayor of Male’ City Sifa Mohamed has stated the capital city’ can be kept as a clean city with the cooperation from all individuals.
Since this week is a holiday and many people visit Male’, Mayor Sifa advised people living in the city to keep it clean and safe. Sifa said keeping the city clean is a responsibility of every individual, calling to clean and dump waste regularly from construction sites, hotels and restaurants. She added action will be taken against people who do not act accordingly to keep the city clean.
Male’ City Council and Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) work tirelessly to keep the capital city clean.
