Maldives have held a tourism promotional activity in Ukraine.
The event organised by Resort Life Maldives was also participated by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC). The event was held at a Ukrainian resort under the theme: Third Annual Maldives.
MMPRC said the aim of the event is to promote Maldives as a tourism destination in an interactive manner. MMPRC revealed information related to tourism was shared with Ukrainian tour operators and companies during the event. The one-day event was participated by 8 resorts of Maldives.
By May this year, 6,066 tourists visited Maldives from Ukraine, according to statistics. The amount is recorded as an increase of 8.3% compared to last year.
