Ministry of Education has handed over the construction of multi-purpose halls in 6 schools.
The education ministry contracted Water Park Maldives Private Limited to construct two-storey multipurpose halls in Alifushi School, Vaavu Atoll Education Centre, Guraidhoo School, Ungoofaaru School, Kurendhoo School and Keyodhoo School. The agreement of the venture was signed by Minister of State for Education Ahmed Riyaz and Managing Director of Water Park Maldives Ahmed Afrah.
The project to construct the halls would cost over USD 2.525 million and would be financed by Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP). The multipurpose halls must be developed with the latest facilities and should be completed before March 2020.
