The temporary UK Visa Application Centre has begun accepting visa applications at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Visa Application Centre will collect the biometric enrolments and documents from all applicants who have made prior appointments. The centre will be open from 0900 hours to 1700 hours on August 5 and 6.
The UK Government has established the Visa Application Centre in Maldives on the request of the Maldivian Government to ease the process for those applying for UK visas, especially students going to the UK for higher studies.
The Visa Application Centre was opened as part of the broader efforts of the Maldivian Government to ease and strengthen the consular services provided to Maldivians.
