Increased amount of road accidents is a challenge: Vice President

Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated the increased amount of road accidents is a challenge for the whole society. The vice president made the remarks at a ceremony held to launch the Road Safety Campaign initiated by Ministry of Education. The education ministry initiated the campaign to familiarise students on road safety.

Addressing the ceremony held in Hiriya School, Vice President Naseem said the recent statistics show the number of accidents have increased, highlighting it is a challenge for the whole society. The vice president noted the projects embarked by the administration will only be successful once the public are familiarised on road safety and regulations, adding the cooperation of the public is crucial.

Furthermore, the vice president urged the public to be cautious about road safety rules and to remember others are using the road as well. He noted the administration prioritises upbringing an educated society.
