JSC to investigate cases of 3 judges

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided to probe cases related to High Court Judge Hassan Ali and Civil Court Judge Abdulla Ali.

During the 78th meeting of the JSC, a committee was formed to investigate complaints filed against three judges.

The committee formed to investigate complaints against Judge Hassan Ali comprises of Vice President of JSC Masthooru Husnee, Attorney General Ibrahim Riffath and commission member Mohamed Eesa Fulhu. Meanwhile, the committee formed to investigate complaints against Judge Abdulla Ali comprises of Masthooru Husnee, Ibrahim Riffath and commission member Abdul Rauf Ibrahim. Furthermore, complaints against Chief Magistrate of Dhan'bidhoo Court Ahmed Shareef will be investigated by a committee formed under Masthooru Husnee, Abdul Rauf Ibrahim and Mohamed Eesa Fulhu.

While JSC decided to look in to complaints against the mentioned judges, JSC have also decided to investigate complaints by general public and commission members regarding judges and magistrates.
