Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed has held discussions with Thulhaadhoo Island Council to enhance local tourism.
The minister also inquired about the challenges faced in enhancing local tourism in Thulhaadhoo, as part of his ongoing trip to Baa Atoll and Shaviyani Atoll.
During the serial visits to the islands, Minister Ali Waheed will hold discussions with island councils, atoll councils, city councils and businesses to inquire about the challenges faced in enhancing local tourism in inhabited islands. The aim of the trips is to seek suggestions for service providers and councils which might be of use to the local tourism policy in progress.
Moreover, Minister Ali Waheed will inaugurate the first ever guest house developed in Kanditheemu in Shaviyani Atoll.
