President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has ratified the 3rd Amendment to the Judicature Act.
The amendment was passed by the Parliament on July 17. Following ratification, the act has been published in the Government Gazette.
Following the ratification of the amendment, the total number of judges on the Supreme Court bench is now 7, composed of a Chief Justice and 6 additional judges.
