President's Office has stated President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will address the nation in celebration of the 54th Independence Day of Maldives. The address will take place on July 26 at 1000 hours and will be broadcast live through the media, according to the President's Office.
Meanwhile, President and First Lady Fazna Ahmed will host a special event in celebration of Independence Day on July 25 at Dharubaaruge convention centre.
A large number of senior officials from the government and public sector organisations will be invited to the event and official invitations are being consigned by the President's Office.
