STO slashes petrol prices for the fourth time in 2019

State Trading Organisation (STO) has slashed petrol prices for the fourth time this year.

STO said a litre of petrol would be sold for USD 0.66, down from USD 0.72 which was announced on June 14. However, diesel prices remain unchanged with a litre sold for USD 0.72.

The changes in fuel prices are due to fluctuations in global fuel prices, according to STO.
