Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali has revealed the all-inclusive education policies and strategic plan will be revised before the end of the year.
Speaking at the All-Inclusive Education Coaches Training Programme, Education Minister Aishath Ali said several targets are marked to be achieved as part of the all-inclusive education provided to children with special needs. She spoke on the importance of revising the all-inclusive education policies and strategic plan to ensure the targets are met.
Speaking at the event, Director General at National Institute of Education (NIE) Ahmed Athif noted the participants in the programme are experts in providing an all-inclusive education to children with special needs. He expressed hope the programme would be a success.
A total of 25 teachers from 20 schools are taking part in the 4-day training programme, according to NIE.
Following the conclusion of the programme, the participants will visit the schools across the country and share their knowledge with the teachers and the parents. They would also try and identify students who need special attention in teaching.
