Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has suspended Senior Magistrate of Kaafu Atoll Mohamed Raqib.
At a press conference, Director at JSC Mohamed Zaheen said the commission is conducting an investigation on a case submitted against Raqib. Zaheen said the senior magistrate was suspended after the investigation found sufficient evidence against him.
JSC has now forwarded the case to Maldives Police Service.
