Alke-Turmacs to supply furniture for Addu Tertiary Hospital

The Government of Maldives has contracted Alke-Turmacs Joint Venture Private Limited to supply furniture for Addu Tertiary Hospital. The agreement was signed by Director at Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure Fathimath Shaana Farooq and Chief of Technical Head of Alke-Turmacs.

The project was contracted to be completed within 45 to 65 days and would cost of USD 1.7 million. The planning ministry said the project is funded from OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) and from the state budget.

As part of the agreement, Alke-Turmacs will supply, deliver, assemble and install office furniture and accessories at Addu Tertiary Hospital and train the employees on using the equipment.

The government is aiming to inaugurate Addu Tertiary Hospital next August.
