Parents urged to become role models by advocating water conservation

Vice President Faisal Naseem has emphasised the importance of saving water and urged parents to become role models for the children by advocating water conservation. The vice president made the remarks addressing the function held to celebrate the 24th anniversary of Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC).

During the ceremony, Vice President Naseem appealed to limit the use of single-use plastics and to adopt more environmentally friendly methods. He encouraged the staff of MWSC and other companies to make the best use of office hours to ensure quality services are provided to the Maldivian people.

During this ceremony, the vice president presented the chairman award for excellence to the nominated employees.
