Vice President Faisal Naseem has said the aim of the administration is to solve the issues of the education sector and to further strengthen the education system in the country. The vice president made the statement during a visit to Imaadhudheen School to observe how the Special Education Needs (SEN) classes are ongoing and met with the management and students.
During the meeting held with the management of the school, the management briefed the vice president of the challenges faced to the school especially in carrying out SEN classes. In this regard, the management highlighted currently the SEN classes are carried out in the school annex building which is located next to the main school ground. They also shed light on the need to remove the road barrier between the two buildings so that a more inclusive student union could be achieved in tutoring the children with special needs.
Vice President Naseem noted the education sector is one of the key focus areas where the president and government have given special attention and ensured the government would take necessary action after discussing with relevant institutions and would address the specific issues and concerns raised by the school management.
