Vice President Faisal Naseem has emphasised that Maldives is in need of young skilled labour and requested all students to make maximum use of learning opportunities.
Speaking at the certificate awarding ceremony for Discover Hospitality Programme held at Hotel Jen, Vice President Naseem shed light on the importance of human resources development and acknowledged the key contribution of institutions working towards improving human resources in the tourism sector. The vice president shared his own experience in the tourism sector and imparted a vital message to people interested in working in hospitality and advised that success comes to those that pay full attention to their work.
The vice president noted the administration will always try to develop human resources by exploring every possible opportunity to reach new heights of progress to the country. He also said the administration is committed to enhancing the education sector.
During the event, the vice president awarded certificates to the second batch of participants of Discover Hospitality Programme.
