Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has revealed the administration will achieve the vision to make Maldivians heard in the international sphere.
Addressing the Heads of Missions Meeting 2019, Foreign Minister Shahid highlighted when the current administration took office, some sanctions from international authorities have fouled the name of Maldives. He said the new administration faced many challenges.
However, the foreign minister added with the vision and advisory of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, efforts are underway to make Maldivians acceptable internationally and to make their voices heard. He expressed hope to establish and strengthen relations with foreign countries during the five-year term of the administration.
The foreign ministry held a one-day meeting for all Heads of Missions in Maldives. The Heads of Missions Meeting was divided into three sessions and was inaugurated by the President Solih.
