Upgraded Border Security Systems installed across Maldives

Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology has revealed the upgraded border security systems have been installed across the country.

Speaking to PSM News, State Minister Ali Solih said Personal Identification Security Comparison and Evaluation System (PISCES) have been installed and upgraded at all international airport and sea ports. He said experts and technical staff from PISCES installed and upgraded 70 systems across the country.

The system is developed by a US-based Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation. The project is a joint effort by the Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology, Maldives National Defence Force, Maldives Immigration and the US Government.
