Several foreign envoys and institutional representatives pay courtesy calls on Vice President

Several ambassadors and foreign dignitaries have made courtesy calls on Vice President Faisal Naseem today at separate meetings held at the President’s Office.

In this regard, the ambassador of Turkey to the Maldives, His Excellency Şakir Özkan; the ambassador of Thailand to the Maldives, His Excellency Chulamy Chatsuwan; the ambassador of Canada to the Maldives, His Excellency David Bruce Mckinnon; the ambassador of Australia to the Maldives, His Excellency David Holly; as well as the IOM’s Regional Director for the Asia Pacific, Ms. Maria Mortus and the UNFPA Country Director, Rishu Nekken paid courtesy calls on the Vice President.

During these meetings, Vice President expressed his gratitude towards the ambassadors and organization representatives for their participation in the Maldives’ Partnership Forum, ongoing from June 17-18, at Kurumba Maldives.

Responding to the Vice President’s positive remarks, the foreign envoys and institutional directors, in turn, each expressed an eagerness to take forward our relationships and collaboration in all vital areas.
