Dhidhdhoo Immigration Office opened

Maldives Immigration has established an outlet in Dhidhoo in Haa Alifu Atoll. The outlet was inaugurated by Controller General of Immigration Mohamed Ahmed Hussain and Parliamentarian Abdulla Waheed.

Citizens can now apply for passport services via the outlet and also collect passports from the island, according to Immigration. The passport of the first applicants from Dhidhoo Immigration Office was handed over by the immigration controller. Dhidhoo Immigration Office will initially facilitate passport service only, adding passports will be completed within a week of submission.

While an outlet has established in the island, it is a pledge made by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih during his visit to the island in March.
