Parliamentarian Ali Riza has taken oath of office for new parliament cycle.
Parliamentarian Riza took oath of office in the presence of Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed. His oath was administered by Chief Justice Dr. Ahmed Abdulla Didi.
Members of his Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) attended the ceremony held to administer the oath. The new parliament took the oath of office on May 28.
However, Riza was in Saudi Arabia for Umrah pilgrimage.
