Prime Minister Modi made the remarks in a tweet posted upon reaching Maldives. In the tweet, Modi showed interest to boosting ties with Maldives in various sectors.
Meanwhile, the administration has exerted major efforts to enhance ties with India. This is the second visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi while he first arrived in Maldives for the swearing-in ceremony of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
